I3 infrasolutions began their partnership with key contractors at Clarke Creek Wind Farm when early construction commenced in July 2022 about 150 km North-West of Rockhampton. With multiple wind turbines now fully constructed, our dedication persists with i3 supplying many essential components for the earth grids, substations and HV switching systems. Enlisting specialist global brands for this endeavour, i3 has engaged with many international manufacturers to ensure the installation of some of the world’s premier product by the electrical contractors with whom we closely collaborate.
To date, i3 has supplied over 12km of copper conductor for earthing with over 10,000kg of accessories for the network of earth grids. In addition to the earthing, i3 has supplied thousands of meters of power cable and support systems that have been successfully integrated into the site. With only just over 10% of the total turbines being installed, the project holds significant promise for the future.
